Ariana Grande: Wear a Mask and Get the Jab
Ariana Grande shared a “gentle reminder” for fans to get vaccinated against the coronavirus (COVID-19).
The 28-year-old pop starlet uploaded a photo of herself wearing a black mask to Instagram on Sunday, 1 August.
In the caption, she said: “vaxxed n masked. this is your gentle reminder to please get your vaccines if you are eligible. this thing is not yet over ! sharing some info because i care and if i can, i’d like to help anybody who is hesitant or curious with making their decision [sic]”
The “7 Rings” hitmaker shared the post in hopes that it might “save a life or two.”
At the end of the caption, Grande included links to several accounts that provide information on dispelling the myths and falsehoods surrounding the contagious virus, as well as the vaccines available.
Grande isn’t the only celeb voice speaking up on the importance of getting the COVID-19 jab – recently, actor Sean Penn and actress Sharon Stone both expressed refusal to work with unvaccinated film crews.
